Segment 15:  The Austin Film Festival is one that is sure to come to mind whenever the topic comes up and after 17 years, it very well should.  John Donovan and I had the chance to speak with Executive Director Barbara Morgan and Film Program Director Kelly Williams at the IFFS in Las Vegas and learned a lot about the annual event.  With a focus on narrative screenwriting, the duo insists that the story is key above all else and offered several suggestions during our podcast as to how filmmakers can make themselves stand out and separate themselves from the crowd.  We also discussed the recent changes in technology affecting film festivals and other info you won’t want to miss.   Tune in to our interview and then check out their website at www.austinfilmfestival.com and @austinfimfest on Twitter for future updates.
