Keith Mosher, the director of “One Long Day” knew exactly the movie he wanted to make, he just didn’t realize that it would take four long years to complete it.  John Donovan from La Voce Radio and I spoke with Keith and one of the film’s actors Dean Mauro at Derek Stonebarger’s Theatre7  for Filmmakers Notebook after Mosher received the Vegas Independent Film Festival (VIFF!) award for Best Feature made for less than $25,000.  “One Long Day”, which is Keith’s first directorial effort, has also been named an official selection in the Action On Film Festival being held from July 22 – 30 in Pasadena, California.

Both Keith and Dean, who is well known locally for playing several roles in  both independent films and on stage where he appreared in The Soprano’s Last Supper, are looking forward to having one long run with this entertaining action comedy.  In fact,  as part of the prize for winning this Golden Bulb Award, the film has a theatrical distribution deal at Theatre7 and will be shown there on a regular, recurring basis until the Vegas International Film Festival takes place there in November.
