Many states have a film commission that helps movie makers find out information about permits, locations, local production crews and other necessessities needed in order to get a project made, but in the Silver State we have the Nevada Film Office.  One of the most helpful and energetic members on this team is Danette Tull, who was graciaous enough to join us on Filmmakers Notebook and talk about some of the services she and her colleagues eagerly provide.

Although Nevada and particularly Las Vegas locations like the Strip are known to be popular back drops for Hollywood productions, the independent film community has been growing and more filmmaking projects have been on the rise despite the fact that the recent tax incentive bid was defeated.  Find our more about the benefits of shooting in Nevada from Danette as she talks about her work and just how her office can be of service.
