John Donovan and I celebrated the first Filmmakers Notebook radio show of 2012 by interviewing one of our favorite Las Vegas Filmmakers – Kelly Schwarze, who is perhaps best known for directing “You People” and now has a new feature called “Territory 8″ in the works. Another one of the latest projects he has taken on along with wife Charisma has been launching a new motion picture studio specifically tailored for independent artists called The Indie Film Factory. Aimed at providing affordable, professional space to filmmakers, The Indie Film Factory will also offer low-cost workshops and host panel discussions related to a number of movie making related topics. Following their successful IndieGoGo campaign the couple has secured a location and will soon be announcing their grand opening. For more information listen to our interview with Kelly and check out their website at http://www.indiefilmfactory.com/.
